Brief

TC2 Composition and Alloy Type

  • Nominal Composition: Near-alpha (α) stopu tytanu
  • Elemental Composition: 4% α stabilizing element Aluminum (Al), 1.5% β stabilizing element Manganese (Mn)

Mechanical Properties

  • Strength: Moderate strength with good ductility
  • Heat Treatment: Cannot undergo heat treatment strengthening, only used in the annealed state
  • Working Temperatures: Long-term operating temperature up to 350°C, short-term usage up to 750°C

Advantages

  • Processability: Satisfactory process plasticity, welding properties, and thermal stability
  • Zastosowania: Suitable for manufacturing components requiring stamping and welding processes

  • Available Forms: Sheets, paski, pręty, pipes, forgings, and die forgings
