Classification System:

Cijfer 1

  • Pore size: 500-1000 µm
  • Porosity: Over 60%
  • Characteristics: Harder and stronger, commonly used in filtration, separation, and chemical reactions.

  • Pore size: 100-500 µm
  • Porosity: Over 70%
  • Characteristics: Lighter and softer than Grade 1, with a larger specific surface area and better catalytic performance. Commonly used in photocatalysis and electrocatalysis.

Cijfer 3

  • Pore size: 50-100 µm
  • Porosity: Over 80%
  • Characteristics: Very light and soft, with a larger specific surface area. Suitable for adsorption, regeneration, and gas storage.

Cijfer 4

  • Pore size: 10-50 µm
  • Porosity: Over 85%
  • Characteristics: Larger specific surface area, used in high-tech applications like supercapacitors.

Cijfer 5

  • Pore size: 1-10 µm
  • Porosity: Over 90%
  • Characteristics: Largest specific surface area with the smallest pore size, suitable for fine catalysis and adsorption applications.
