Over the past week, the domestic titanium market has shown a relatively calm state, with prices remaining stable and the market’s supply-demand relationship relatively balanced. Namun, industry experts believe that this state may not last long. With the gradual recovery of the global economy, the gradual launch of China’s aerospace and defense markets, and the upcoming maintenance period in industries such as chemicals, the demand for titanium materials is expected to increase further in the second half of the year. Namun, as the current titanium industry is experiencing overheating investment, the risk of overcapacity is also gradually increasing. Companies need to strengthen their risk awareness to avoid problems of overinvestment and overcapacity.

The specific performance of various materials in the market is as follows:

Spons Titanium: Market demand remains weak, inventories at sponge titanium production companies have increased, and market demand continues to decrease. Harga tetap stabil, with the transaction price for Grade 1 products around 49,000 yuan per ton.
Titanium Ingot: Production has significantly decreased, with some companies reducing output, leading to a drop in prices. Pure titanium ingots are quoted at around 55,000 to 58,000 yuan per ton, while TC4 paduan titanium ingots are quoted at around 60,000 to 62,000 yuan per ton.
Potongan Titanium: Prices continue to fall, with abundant supply. The prices for pure titanium scrap and TC4 alloy scrap are approximately 28,000 yuan and 22,000 yuan per ton, respectively.
Lembaran Titanium: Companies have reduced production, leading to a drop in prices and decreased demand. The market price for pure titanium slabs is between 62,000 and 63,000 yuan per ton, with sufficient spot market resources.
Pelat Canai Panas Titanium (gulungan): Demand has decreased, namun harga tetap stabil. The quotation for pure titanium hot-rolled coils is between 82,000 and 85,000 yuan per ton, while pure titanium hot-rolled plates are quoted at around 80,000 yuan per ton.
Batang Titanium dan Kabel: Demand is stable, and prices remain unchanged. Pure titanium rods are priced between 120,000 and 140,000 yuan per ton, while titanium alloy rods are quoted at 180,000 to 220,000 yuan per ton. Pure titanium wires with a diameter of 2 to 4 mm are quoted at approximately 140 to 160 yuan per kilogram.
Titanium Tubes: Market demand has decreased, namun harga tetap stabil, with quotations between 115,000 and 125,000 yuan per ton.
Paduan Titanium: Market demand is declining, competition is intensifying, and prices have slightly decreased.

Titanium Ore

Titanium Slag

In July, the northern region’s titanium slag tender price is 7600 yuan/ton, a decrease of 200 yuan/ton compared to June. The downstream market is weak, titanium slag enterprises are under great pressure to ship products, market prices are low, and raw material costs remain high, leading to substantial production pressure for titanium slag enterprises, who are operating under pressure.

Titanium Tetrachloride

The market quotation for titanium tetrachloride is 6300-6800 yuan/ton. With high liquid chlorine prices, enterprises are facing significant cost pressures. Downstream cost pressures are also high, leading to stable prices for titanium tetrachloride.

Spons Titanium

The mainstream market price for grade 1 sponge titanium for civilian use is around 49,000-50,000 yuan/ton. Sponge titanium enterprises are under significant inventory pressure, market demand is weak, and enterprises are facing considerable shipping pressure, resulting in weak price performance.

Titanium Dioxide

Today’s titanium dioxide price index is 15525.51, tidak berubah dari hari kerja sebelumnya. The titanium dioxide market is operating below capacity, coupled with rising costs. Some titanium dioxide enterprises in Anhui and Hubei regions have raised prices by 100-200 yuan/ton. Baru-baru ini, some enterprises have had good order volumes and are considering further price increases, while the market remains cautious.
