Technical Requirements
- The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars shall comply with GB/T 3620.1. If repeated verification is required, the permissible deviation of chemical composition shall comply with GB/T 3620.2.
- The diameter or side length and its permissible deviation of hot worked rod
- The permissible deviation of the diameter of turned (polished) bars and cold-rolled, cold-drawn bars after hot working.
- The out-of-roundness of turned (polished) bars after hot working shall not be greater than half of the dimensional tolerance.
- The random length of processed bars is 300-6000 mm; the random length of annealed bars is 300-2000 mm. The fixed length or multiple lengths should be within the range of random lengths. The permissible deviation of the fixed length is +20 mm; the multiple lengths should also consider the cut length of the bars, which is 5 mm per cut. The fixed or multiple lengths should be specified in the contract.
