• Properties:
  • Known as the “workhorse” of titanium alloys.
  • Most commonly used titanium alloy, contabilizar 50% of global titanium usage.
  • Can be heat treated to increase strength.
  • Usable for welded structures up to 600°F.
  • High strength, lightweight, useful formability, and high corrosion resistance.
