Performance Characteristics

• Weldability and Machinability: Suitable for welding and various machining processes

Corrosion Resistance

• General Corrosion Resistance: Good overall resistance to corrosion
• Heat Salt Stress Corrosion Sensitivity: Some sensitivity, similar to other titanium alloys

Aplicaciones

• Aeroespacial: Primarily used for compressor components in aircraft engines, such as blades, disks, drums, and shafts
• Castings: Can be used to make complex-shaped castings
• Engine Use: The most widely used titanium alloy in Chinese engines in recent years

• Beta Heat Treatment: Rapidly developing techniques for beta heat treatment and isothermal forging
