TC9 Chemical Composition

  • Main Elements: Titanium (Von), Aluminum (Al), Molybdenum (MO), Tin (Sn), and Silicon (Und)
  • Nominale Komposition: Ti-6.5Al-3,5MO-2.5SN-0.3Und
  • Alloy Composition:
    • Aluminum (Al) acts as the α stabilizing element
    • Tin (Sn) serves as the neutral element
    • Molybdenum (MO) and Silicon (Und) function as β stabilizing elements
  • This combination of elements provides TC9 with excellent thermal strength and high-temperature stability.

Mechanical Properties

  • Demonstrates outstanding mechanical properties at different temperatures.
  • Exhibits high-temperature strength, creep resistance, and good fatigue strength.
  • Capable of long-term operation at 500°C without performance degradation.
  • Strength and ductility can be optimized through appropriate heat treatment.
