TC2 Composition and Alloy Type

  • Nominale Komposition: Near-alpha (α) Titanlegierung
  • Elemental Composition: 4% α stabilizing element Aluminum (Al), 1.5% β stabilizing element Manganese (Mn)

Mechanical Properties

  • Strength: Moderate strength with good ductility
  • Heat Treatment: Cannot undergo heat treatment strengthening, only used in the annealed state
  • Working Temperatures: Long-term operating temperature up to 350°C, short-term usage up to 750°C

  • Processability: Satisfactory process plasticity, welding properties, and thermal stability
  • Anwendungen: Suitable for manufacturing components requiring stamping and welding processes
